About Randy Curtis
Randy Curtis is a former RAMA board member and friend with more than 20 years in the advertising industry. He spent 20 years in the agency world, handling such clients as Target, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, McDonald’s, Texaco, General Mills and RCA to name a few. In 1997, he left the agency world to join Wal-Mart in 1997, where he was named Vice President of Creative and Media. Randy passed away in February 2006, a few weeks after the annual Retail Advertising Conference in Chicago, where he was an active participant. He was a very talented and creative person who openly shared his passion for retail. Through this memorial award, RAMA hopes to inspire talented students to choose a career in retail advertising and marketing.
